A vice province is a unit of the congregation consisting of members in local communities under the leadership and authority of a vice province director and councilors. Vice province members focus the response of the congregation to the needs of the church and society in a particular area of service to the "dear neighbor." The congregation has three vice provinces.

  • The Hawaii Vice Province was established as a mission in 1938 and became a vice province in 1956.
  • The Japan Vice Province was established as a mission in 1956 and became a vice province in 1978.
  • The Peru Vice Province was established as a mission in 1962 and became a vice province in 1978.
