Celebration in Tacna

The Sisters of St. Joseph and all of Tacna celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the creation of the Institution of San José Fe y Alegria. Celebrations included an outdoor musical function with singing and dancing; a festive mini parade, and special honoring of the school's four principals, among them Sisters Zaida Perez, Maria Inés Gutierrez and Gloria Zapata. A special Eucharist was celebrated in gratitude for the Lord's blessings on the institution. Through the years the sisters have served with much love and dedication, educating the poor, those people that the Lord prefers.
